The FDA has recently issued a warning regarding the use of some proton pump inhibitors (PPI's) and Plavix (clopidogrel) a drug used to prevent ischemic cardiac events and strokes.

PPI's include Prilosec (omeprazole), Nexium (esomeprazole) and Zegerid (omeprazole/sodium bicarbonate).
